already working.
Install it before you fly — your data only starts counting when you land.

Why not just roam, or buy a SIM there?
Both work. Here is honestly where each one lets you down.

Roaming packs are the convenient option if your operator's rate happens to suit your trip — worth checking before you buy anything.
Three steps, two minutes

Choose where you're going and a data plan that matches your trip length.
Pay in rupees
UPI, card or net banking. One price, all inclusive — nothing added at the end.
Scan and go
Your QR appears instantly and lands in your inbox. Install over Wi-Fi before you fly.
Everything roaming should have been
Built for Indian travellers who are tired of ₹2,000-a-day roaming packs.
Keep your Indian number
It runs as a second line, so calls, WhatsApp and bank OTPs keep arriving on your regular SIM.
Delivered in seconds
Your QR code appears on screen the moment payment clears, and lands in your inbox.
No KYC, no paperwork
Buy it from your sofa the night before you fly. Nothing to upload, nobody to visit.
Validity starts on landing
Install it days early over Wi-Fi. The clock only starts when the eSIM first connects abroad.
Premium local networks
You get the same towers locals use, at 5G speeds where the network supports it.
Pay the Indian way
UPI, cards, net banking and wallets through Razorpay. Priced in rupees, no forex markup.
Keeping your Indian number working abroad
The eSIM handles data. Your Indian SIM still has to be set up correctly before you fly, or bank OTPs will not reach you.
Your TripKite eSIM
- Set it as the mobile data line
- Enable data roaming for this line only
- Use it for everything: maps, WhatsApp, calls over the internet
Your Indian SIM
- Turn data roaming OFF so it cannot be charged
- Leave the line itself on, to receive calls and SMS
- Avoid outgoing calls and SMS — those bill at roaming rates
Will it work on your phone?
The 30-second test
Dial *#06#. If an EID number appears alongside the IMEI, your phone takes an eSIM. It also has to be network-unlocked — a handset still locked to an operator will refuse the profile even with an EID.

Still have a question? Contact supportWill my phone work with an eSIM?
Most phones from 2019 onward do — iPhone XS and newer, Pixel 3 and newer, and recent Samsung Galaxy S and Z models. Your phone also needs to be network-unlocked. Dial *#06# — if you see an EID number, you're set.
Do I lose my Indian number?
No. The eSIM installs as a second line alongside your physical SIM. Your Indian number stays active for calls, SMS and OTPs — just keep its mobile data switched off so you don't get roaming charges.
When does my plan start counting?
On first connection at your destination, not at purchase. That's why we recommend installing it at home over Wi-Fi a day or two before you travel — it sits dormant until you land.
Can I make calls with it?
These are data-only plans, so there's no local number for regular calls or SMS. Calls over WhatsApp, FaceTime, Telegram and Google Meet all work normally on the data.
What if the QR doesn't work?
Every order page also shows the manual details — SM-DP+ address and activation code — which you can type in directly. If it still won't install, write to us and we'll re-issue it.
Can I get a refund?
Yes, as long as the eSIM hasn't been installed. Once a profile is downloaded to a phone it can't be reused, so we can't refund it after that.
